ABOUT NEA

NEA is a Swedish drummer, singer, songwriter, and producer based in Sydney, Australia. Her musical journey began at five years old, when she first expressed herself by tapping pencils on cookie jars. Recognising her early talent, her parents gifted her a drum kit — and she hasn’t stopped playing ever since. In 2014, NEA performed at her first festival with her tribute band Nea Goes TOTO and made her television debut on Sweden’s Got Talent. That same year, she was invited to play on stage with iconic Scorpions guitarist Uli Jon Roth in Copenhagen, followed by a second performance with him in Sala in 2016. These experiences propelled her career, and in 2017, she returned to Sweden’s Got Talent, this time as the drummer for one of the finalists. After studying music at the Academy of Music and Business, NEA’s passion for production and songwriting flourished. In 2021, she released her fusion/rock project, including the singles “Mixture” and “Hot Ice,” receiving both a scholarship for artistry and a sponsorship from Istanbul Agop Cymbals. In 2022, NEA moved to Sydney to study for a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production and expand her career internationally. Later that year, she performed at IDP’s Talent Show in Melbourne, earning a spot among the top ten finalists. In 2024 and 2025, NEA was invited to play drums for the finalists on Australian Idol. In 2024, NEA released her debut EP, Traveller, featuring six tracks that blend pop melodies with rock-inspired drumming. Her latest single, Save My Love, is the first track from her upcoming album. It’s a fearless blend of 10CC-style harmonic craftsmanship and TOTO-inspired guitar radiance — all driven by powerful drums and NEA’s signature vocal layers. NEA continues to push the boundaries of pop and rock, creating a sound uniquely her own.
